How to connect with Klaviyo

In order to connect Klaviyo with Authoritive Platform you will need a Klaviyo secret key. To obtain the key, follow these step-by-step instructions below:

Step 1: Sign in to your Klaviyo account

Open your browser and navigate to Klaviyo website (https://www.klaviyo.com). Then, click on the "Log in" button in the top right corner.

Step 2: Access your account settings

After logging in, click on your account name or profile picture in the bottom left corner. A dropdown menu will appear; select "Settings".

Step 3: Create a new Private API Key

When in Settings page, click on "API keys" tab on the left hand side navigation menu. Then click on "Create Private API Key" button in "Private API Keys" section.

Toggle Full Access for "Events" API Scope and give your Private API Key a descriptive name that will help you identify its purpose or usage. This name is for your reference.

Step 4: Copy the generated API key

Once generated, copy "Your Private Key" value.

Step 5: Connect to Authoritive Platform

• Go to the Authoritive Platform and navigate to the specific program you wish to connect.
• Go to "Publish > Integrations" page.
• Paste the Private API Key you copied from Klaviyo into the corresponding field under the Email Marketing section.
• Click "Save Changes".
